By using Vid2Podcast (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vid2Podcast is a web application that turns YouTube video captions into AI-written summaries and study notes, and reads them aloud using synthetic text-to-speech voices.

3. Permitted Use

  • You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • You may only process videos for which you have the right to access the content.
  • You agree not to use the Service to infringe on the intellectual property rights of content creators.
  • You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service.

4. Free and Pro Plans

  • Free plan — 10 conversions per month, 1 AI summary per day, 2 AI chat messages per day.
  • Pro plan — Unlimited conversions, AI features, and premium voices. Requires a paid subscription via Polar.sh.
  • We reserve the right to change plan limits at any time with reasonable notice.

5. Payments and Refunds

  • Pro subscriptions are processed by Polar.sh. By subscribing, you agree to their payment terms.
  • We offer a 30-day refund guarantee for Pro plans. Contact us within 30 days of purchase.
  • Refunds are processed through the original payment method.

6. Content and Copyright

Vid2Podcast does not host, store, or redistribute YouTube video content. Transcripts are fetched directly from YouTube's public API. Generated audio is for personal use only. Respect the rights of content creators and comply with YouTube's Terms of Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Transcript accuracy depends on the source content and may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vid2Podcast shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
